Similar places in Spain or Portugal?

Hello
I wonder if anyone can suggest a place for our summer holiday. The last few years we have been to France for ease and have stayed in some great self catering places, all very much geared towards young families with clusters of gites, lots of outdoor toys, ride ons, playgrounds, swimming pool etc. We have also stayed at similar places in the UK. Favourites have been Domaine de Peyrecaty and ][http://tredethick.co.uk/ Tredethick farm cottages]]

This year we'd like to go somewhere different, maybe Spain or Portugal, or anywhere short haul really, but we really want this kind of set up and are struggling to find anywhere. Casiero del Mirador in Spain is fully booked.

Any ideas?

Not sure I can help with Spain bit I've been a regular visitor to the Algarve.

Martinhal Beach Resort gets good reviews, although I'm unsure of the price (they seem to be branded as a five star experience so may be £££) It's near the town of Sagres, at the far west of the Algarve so off the beaten track a bit.

Alternatively, there are loads of villas/apartments to rent across the region. What type of resort are you after beach/inland/lively/quiet?

There's also the Silver Coast, North of Lisbon or the coast near Lisbon itself but I haven't travelled to those personally.

Obviously a gap in the market! Its really the accomocation type we're struggling to find, there are plenty of areas we'd consider. We cant afford Marthinal in school holidays unfortunately plus I'm not a fan of the wind...

Not really looking for a villa rental as its the whole set up for the kids/socialising with other families that we're after.

I'm here! But unfortunately I don't know of anywhere like this, not to say it doesn't exist but it's not common here, sorry

If you find anywhere ilove let me know, this is what I have spent countless hours searching for already! We loved Mirador and would like a similar place but this year quite fancy a small resort so we can walk to restaurants in the evening, don't quite fancy a hire car with 3 kids!

I haven't had much luck so far in Spain but have found Mousses in Greece - anyone been there?
