Sheraton - One Spa is great. Loads of other good ones - Waldorf, Scotsman and Balmoral all meant to be good. Have fun choosing and enjoying Smile

I second the Sheraton. The Spa is amazing and they have a roof top pool. Covered obviously!

Rooftop pool sounds fab. Thank you all! We will be travelling with our three year old. He is generally well behaved - any issue with kids?

Generally the spas don't allow kids. Definitely not allowed on One spa. These spas are considered as a haven for adults and part of the luxury is a kid free zone.
If you're asking about a hotel with a pool where kids can swim then that is really a different question.

MonsterDeCookie · 12/01/2016 19:49

I know that children aren't allowed in the spa. I meant was the hotel itself child friendly enough. Most places we have been have a spa pool and hotel poor where children are allowed in the main hotel pool.

On the outskirts of Edinburgh but the Norton House Hotel is lovely with great spa.
Otherwise Sheraton is probably the best hotel spa in Edinburgh.
