Has anyone done it this way? Would I just be better flying in both directions?

Eurostar doesnt run on the day we return and I really want my children to experience flying to get them used to it!

Flying for DLp is a PITA. When you say Eurostar isn't running, do you mean no direct trains?

Is it really? I found that they run a shuttle bus direct from the airport. There are no direct trains on Thursdays! I wish I had done my research before I booked!!

Just book a private transfer for the airport. Takes 35/40 minutes and you are in the terminal. Not difficult at all.
