Snowy holiday Feb half term

I'm looking for a snowy holiday resort, but we won't be skiing.
Snow play, sledding, generally just being in snow.
This came from our recent trip to Lapland, where although brilliant and magical the children just loved the snow itself as much!
Was a free kids land within the slopes we spent hours there sledging.
Anywhere?
TIA!

Well the only place I've been to outside of America in the snow is Morzine in the Alps in France.

Morzine is at the foot of the mountain and the quaint little town of Avoriaz at the top.

Morzine was like something out of Heidi with beautiful chalet type houses. We went in summer and it was idyllic.

Avoriaz is a ski resort and you can get the lift from Morzine to Avoriaz.. You might want to stay at Morzine or on the other hand you might prefer Avoriaz .

Have a google. We stayed in a Pierre et vacancies studio.

One of the bigger ski resorts will have lots to do. Chamonix would be one to look at.

Course you would have to factor in your ferry, fuel and road tolls.

Would love to go back in the summer.

We're going to Finland. Somewhere really remote right on the Artic Circle.
