New York - New Year

Taking our two boys - 16 and 14 to New York for a short break. Flying on New Year's day. Very excited. We have been a couple of times before, they haven't. Trying to keep it a surprise. Staying at Beekman Tower Hotel, 1st and 49th, near the UN. Wouldn't have chosen it but part of a package. Has anyone been? Looks ok on Trip Advisor. Any recommendations for things to do/places to go with teenage boys would be welcome. It's a few years since we were there.

UN tour is really interesting.
Helicopter tours fly from near the UN too - fantastic!
