My friends are off to NYC for the 1st time next month. They like to buy paintings/art as a souvenir of places they visit, and obviously want to buy something there. They like to buy from art markets or small independent galleries (where things are not too expensive ). I have been to NYC but am not that familiar with it, so can anyone recommend an arty area of the city and/or an art market ? Thanks muchly
