Yes I know it's not a good place to go with young dc. Tell that to my child free friends who are getting married there and invited us to their (child free!) wedding.
I have grandparental help lined up to mind ds (2 and 5yo) and will therefore need a likely 4 bed villa. Am considering staying in a hotel in Positano for a few days, or a week in a villa within 45 mins drive and possibly move on to another place that is more child friendly.
Any ideas? Please help. Everything I've read makes me think 'don't go!'. Not really an option as it will be great to go to a wedding abroad and hopefully good memories down the line.
We usually stay in Spain in gorgeous villas and here the same or greater budget gets you a death trap with a scrap of pool and possibly not enough bedrooms.
Which areas could we stay in and what would we do with the dc?
