I would Sana, I love Cornwall in the winter. As for breaks, we go on the A303 and just stop off at random services, the aim being that we get there sooner.
How old are your DCs?

SANA · 06/12/2006 15:29

DS is nearly 2 & the other 2 are nephews ( 5 & 6), we are mad as this is supoose to be us taking a break!!

It might be worth travelling late at night and letting them sleep in the car, although that depends on where you stay.
Lots of running on the beach should tire them out!!!!!

We went to Cornwall for Xmas last year (SIL lives there).

We had a fantastic time -the weather was very much on our side though -even spent half a day on St Ives beach with lots of other families one day as it was sunny and warm!

We visited lots of towns and places -Eden Project, Falmouth, Mullion Cove, St Ives, Truro.

Our children at the time were 6 and 1.5.
