Hunting for a selfcatering venue in france that sleeps 16!

On the hunt for a big villa or equally a group of Gites to sleep 3 or 4 familes ( each 2 adult + 2 children ), in central to southern France for sun.

Pool is essential - and as a wish list a village within walking distance so DD1 and 2 can ask for bread and cakes nicely en francais.

Looking to go next summer, 2016,

Guessing separate gites might be best to split up catering chores.....

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Have a look at the Kid&coe site - they have some fabulous properties & are family-friendly.

Try holiday tots, there's a few places that sleep 16 and lots that have separate totes/cottages.

Look on French country cottages. Prices vary wildly depending on when you go. And where it's located.

We stayed in a big place in Nontron this year- fab accommodation with pool which kept the kids entertained. Unfortunately very little to do in the area. The same place in the middle of the Dordogne or Provence would have prob cost £1k more tho.
