Cheap May half term holiday

I thought I'd share this (now I've booked it!)

I've just booked a week I'm Budapest for next May half term for just under £1100 for a family of 5.

Flights from Manchester with Ryanair and then a self catering apartment in the city centre.

I've been to Budapest twice before and my children (DS15/DD15/DD7) absolutely love it. Loads to do -water parks, spas, museums, river cruises, parks, restaurants, shopping etc. The average temperature for May is only 16 degrees but I was monitoring it on my phone last May half term (because that's what I do!) Whilst we were in Corfu and Budapest was warmer - 28/29/30. It's not weather dependant anyway though as the water in all the spa pools is regulated at between 28-34 degrees so absolutely lush!

Just thought I'd share this bargainous find as I know from looking that this particular week is looking expensive for other destinations!

Forgot to add - Budapest is really cheap when you get there. The food is bloody gorgeous but not exactly low fat.
