And it's severe weather warnings and we have 2 kids and it's gonna be a nightmare!

go eurotunnel instead?

FredBassett · 03/12/2006 14:05

I find it better when it's rough, it's when the boats gently swaying that it makes me feel queasy. It's good fun, get the kids excited, like being on a fun ride.
It's not a long crossing - we were stuck in storm force gales in the bay of biscay and got back into Portsmouth 24 hours late, it was pretty scary but we all had a great laugh on the ship, we had to sit on the floor and we weren't allowed hot food or drink. The gift shop was totally trashed!
You'll be fine

I had a really bad crossing from Stranraer to Larne once, even the crew were sick, it was foul.

Dover-Calais is really short though, you'll be fine!

I just keep remembering a trip on the Vomit Comet to St malo - 5 hours of the kids throwing up! Joy! At least it's s short one tomorrow! We did think of Eurotunnel but we're going to Disney with Crest and they transfer us on to it if the ferries are cancelled. Ho hum will see what happens when we get there. Joy rides anyone?!

You've probably done the right thing -then again I tend to turn this colour with the slightest bit of movement on the sea!
