Disney Magic bands question

Hi

Does anyone know if you stay at Disney only for a few days, can you continue to use the bands afterwards for fast passes etc? Thinking of having a couple of days at a hotel before joining the rest of the family at a villa, but will continue going to Disney afterwards

Or any thoughts on how else to do it?!

You attach them to your Disney tickets so yes.
Tickets are normally a deprecate purchase from accommodation.
Dd had one last visit not staying at Disney hotel and used it, and will use it again this coming visit.
