Pennyhill Park isn't far out. The hotel is a bit WAG but the spa is amazing.

Not sure whether they still do it but I've done a Sunday night spa break which was much better value. Supper was in the brasserie rather than the restaurant but we managed nearly 2 spa days for the price.

I absolutely love Nirvana spa near Reading. The flotation experience is amazing. There are some great hotels in the local area.

Look at the Milsoms hotels. We went to one in Essex countryside years ago before DC put a stop to such shenanigans. It was lovely - great spa, rooms, restaurant, etx
