winter holiday in Morocco?

Any thoughts or recommendations on Morocco for a winter holiday? I've never been and this year we are really struggling to decide where to go, or even whether to go if we can't find somewhere we'd really look forward to.

In terms of what we like, our perfect winter holiday would be back to Jordan for warmth, desert treks and amazing historical sites but easyjet don't fly there anymore and it might not feel so safe now.

We love Morocco. Been in October half term a few times and weather lovely. We love the Atlas Mountains but it is starting to cool down there by end of October so you would need to check the winter weather.
Essaouira is beautiful and lovely place - totally relaxed and lovely to walk around. Didnt get hassled at all when we went, though Easyjet fly there now, so may be a bit busier.
We find the people really friendly, plenty of places to explore and the food is wonderful.

Morocco can be quite unreliable weather wise in winter. When were you thinking of going?

Thank you so much for the replies, I only just saw them. We are thinking of going in early December and flying into Essaouira which looks great lambfam. We would love do some walking while there too but looks as though it could be too wintry in the mountains.
