Family friend hotel in the West Country for special family get-together

We are looking for a family friendly hotel in the South West of England with an indoor pool for an extended family of 16 for my in-laws golden wedding anniversary next year.

Any recommendations/suggestions gratefully received.

We stayed at Saunton Sands hotel in Devon for DF's 60th a couple of years ago. It was brilliant. Indoor and outdoor pools and looking over the beach. They did kids tea and entertainment in the late afternoon and then adults had dinner together in the evening - DH and I and our two DCs had a suite (well two bedrooms and a bathroom, but crucially just one door so they couldn't let themselves out of their room without us knowing) and hired a woman from the local area (arranged by the hotel and DBS checked) to come and sit in our room and 'watch' the kids (they were asleep the whole time) while we went down to dinner. I would definitely recommend, and make sure you get a sea view room - the view was amazing.

Bedruthan Steps? We've stayed at the adult only sister hotel, The Scarlet a few times and it's wonderful, are considering going to Bedruthan Steps with DDs, they'd love it but it's not cheap.

We have stayed at Saunton Sands twice for family celebrations with the same room set up as SometimesItRains, and it was fantastic. They couldn't do enough for to make it as easy as possible for our group, including the kids.

There's a holiday let in Dewlish that sleeps 16 has an outdoor Pool not an indoor one though ... think a google search finds it easily ... It's lovely ! ( it's near us !)

Budock vean near Falmouth could fit the bill but is pricey. Pool, spa, golf, boat trips on the Helford, lovely gardens etc.

A lower cost option could be Torquay - this hotel is very family friendly with great leisure and pool facilities. They have a range of room types and comfort levels and also have some self catering.
