Recommendations please for a weekend in Scotland

I live in the NW and want to take my DM and two DDs 6&7 to Scotland for a weekend in October. We love scenery and wildlife so Scotland should fulfil that no problem but whereabouts to go...?

Cameron house on Loch Lomond is lovely, they also have cabins in the grounds
