We are going for a weekend in Jan 2007 and would be grateful for wise words and advice on good family friendly hotels from anyone in the know.
DD is 3 and DS 17m
DH has done a bit of phoning around (as he is currently based in Germany)and has tried 2 hotels, Hotel Orangerie(sp) and the Intercontinental.
Orangerie was cheaper but not quite so helpful re cots etc and only had fold up bed, whereas Intercontinental was more helpful, big room and cot and small bed, but 3 times the price.
We always prefer good value for money and if paying top dollar, want to know it is worth it. So any personal recommendations and also any top tips for family activities whilst there.
