we're going on holiday at the end of September and can't decide where to go. It's getting close now and we need to make a decision!

It'll be 2 adults and an 18 moth old. We'd mostly like to hang out on the beach and maybe do a bit of walking.
Which would you recommend. Also any tips for good villas/ apartments would also be great, we've had a look but can't find anything quite right.

We went back to Salento (Puglia) this Summer because we loved it so much the year before. We self catered in Torre San Giovanni, close to the "Maldives of Salento" and had a beach umbrella/sunbed at the Lido il Molo (clean water, safe beach and REALLY good food). The town isn't much so you'd need a car.
Check out www.costedelsud.it with your dates. Professional and reliable booking agency.

I've just had a look on that site and the place we stayed in is charging less than half the price I paid in July/August for the last week in September.

Grr! Lucky you having off peak holidays! Smile

Thanks sgt, and sorry I fell off the radar. The accommodation website was really useful

We're all booked and have gone for Puglia, 5 days in Salento and 5 days in a town further north.

I know it's great being able to honour of summer hols, we're making the most of it while we can
