I'd like to do a house swap next year to spend up to a month in NY state, we have friends and family in Long Island, NYC, Boston and Toronto so would like to use trains to visit them all. I think a town would be best but nowhere too big. Any suggestions/recommendations? Mostly would be just me and DP, though grandchildren and their parents might join us for a bit. We love walking so good walks nearby would be great.
