Hooray - they gave me 5% discount off the price of Periyali villas on Zakynthos, now with Simpson Travel. They used to be run by Simply Travel, we went last year and the dt's loved it so much, i gave in and booked it again for an easy life. The price has gone up about 20% with Simpson, so the discount offered by Avantgarde makes it a little better.

Ah, but you get supposedly revamped villas and private pools now. What did you think of Periyali? We went a couple of years back and loved it, but had heard it was getting a bit too ramshackle. Also, is the lovely Sandre still working behind the bar?
