Bournemouth Air Show - how late can I go?

Any experiences of Bournemouth Air Show? Apparently Saturday is going to be the only decent weather day so even more crowded than usual (I've never been before btw). We are going to go by train, would we be crazy to rock up to the station at about 11am and expect to get a place to sit on the beach, should we go earlier?

I think you'll be fine. Maybe avoid the bit around the pier and head to or between the piers instead. We usually go to southbourne and you still get a great view.

We went yesterday - arrived at the station at 11.30, and it was fine - busy but not mental! Weather was beautiful! Best to aim for the east cliff area - best vantage point. It was brilliant guess it will be busier today though.

It was very busy but also terrific, and the timing was fine. Came back happy at such a lovely day and planning to go again next year, and oh dear not the best day to think about airshows.
