Hello - was wondering if anyone would recommend anywhere ( anywhere, i 'm open to suggestions!) for a week's holiday in january - definitely warm and preferably very child friendly - or at least a bit child friendly... thanks for any thoughts.

Depends how warm. We love Lanzarote - the Teguise end. I klnow a fab - if expensive - hotel I would recommend. Saving up to go there again!

Beg, steal or borrow the extra money and go to Dubai or the Caribbean

what about Madeira although it has a reputation for being a bit staid it is up and coming in the nice place to go stakes i think, and not rowdy and pretty and warm not too far either
