Travelling from London to Exeter this Saturday, returning Sunday. I.'m Being quoted £46 each way on TheTrainLine.
Does that sound about right do you know or should I keep searching for cheaper and if so, where please?
TIA

I can see some £71.60 off peak returns . So slightly cheaper. Depends what time you want to travel. That's just on train line. And it was London any to Exeter any.

Thanks CC. I've been looking on Trainline too.
We need Exeter St David and going Saturday about 1, leaving Exeter Sunday about 4.

I could see 71.60 about 1 but coming back 3.25. Journey took about an hour longer too. Then it crashed before I could see why

That sounds cheap actually! (live in Exeter, travel to London a lot)

If you go on the moneysaving expert website, they have a tool which will split your journey to see if it cheaper booking to intermediate stations rather than as one big trip. You stay on the same train but it works out cheaper!

Thanks guys.
I didn't see that last message in time and just booked based on curls post.
Fingers crossed I've not been fleeced but at least I'll never know Smile
