Adventure weekend for me and partner

Me and ny partner are going away for a weekend janurary 29th-31st , booking as a suprise for his birthday in jan, we are not really sightseeing people i am looking to do activities on saturday like quad biking and go to a comedy club saturday night, needs to be within 3 hours of birmingham any suggestions please???

Stay in Birmingham! You can go go carting in the day, play on the dry ski slope/go to Tamworth on the "real" ski slope then to the glee club at night. Sorted.

Lots of nice hotels too.
