Or are cash points fine? I looked at the foreign office advice site which was updated recently but it's a bit contradictory. It tells you can get money but then it says take all the euros you need plus for any unforseen circumstances. I'm off to Crete on Saturday

Just back from Crete, we could withdraw €200 euros at a time, card payments accepted at the hotel and some restaurants, shops wanted cash. Have a great trip
