Rotterdam to Koblenz to Dunkirk

Last-minute driving holiday with 3 year old and 8 month old. Aiming for Rhine valley. Have tent. Are we mad? Any tips on what to see, where to stop etc. what can we do to keep v active 3 year old happy?! Is there anything in Belgium?!

No recommendations ref where to stay, but the Rhine valley is stunning. Koblenz, yes, also Cochem and to see the siren of the Rhein who would entice sailors to their death. And the barges - they are amazingly long. It's a beautiful part of Germany; enjoy!
