Things to do in Germany - Rhineland

We have booked a holiday for next Easter, staying in a house in Moselkern.

We are hoping to do a boat cruise down the Rhine, and visit some castles. We are a fairly outdoorsy type family. Any recommendations for 'must-do's'? We will have a car so travel not an issue.

We are about to fly this week to do just that so will update when we get back. We will be staying on Rhine and Mosel for 2 weeks. Our dcs are 3 and nearly 5. have german in laws so hoping to get some local info â?º
