Apologies in advance for starting a Christmas one but I need to plan early.
After hosting christmas for the last 15 years we have decided to go away.
UK or abroad we are open to suggestions.
Please share your best destinations with me..

Every year I look at going away for Xmas. Every year we don't go as the prices are astronomical! But if I did go I would do either carribbean or Disneyland Paris or a child friendly country house hotel in UK or somewhere snowy and wintry.

Good luck in your search!

Thank you. Yes it is expensive, but even a nice country hotel would be less expensive (and tiring ) than shopping and cooking for 12. Christmas day & boxing daySmile

Ok well if you have kids then calcot manor would be my choice for hotel in UK.

would suggest the first thing you do is set a budget and the number of days you want to be away for. I think this will help with the option overload situation . what about a city break? do something completely different for Christmas.

We always go to the Middle East but budget is around £10,000 for family of 4 (all deemed adults). Have also done Barbados but not much in it price wise and we prefer the standard of service in the UAE/Oman etc
