California with 3DC - where to start?

Thinking of going to California next year to celebrate a big birthday. We'll have 3 DC with us (5, 7 &10) DC (7) has autism. Wondering if anyone has done this?if so how was the flight, where are the best places to visit? Few days in Disney tonly must on our list. Any advice/suggestions very greatly welcomed as I'm not sure where to start! Few

Do it! Been several times, last big trip was in 2007 when my trio were 9! Need to know what time of the year and how long are you going for? Are you driving? There is so much to see and do but distances can be deceiving. I would def start off by flying into San Francisco and we have mainly flown with Virgin as they are so good with kids.
