Thought I'd share - helpful videos of what to expect when going to an airport

I came across these when planning trip with DCs. Keith Duffy is an interesting choice of narrator and its aimed at kids with autism but to be honest I thought it was helpful for any small children as they get to see what the airport (Manchester) is about and that there is a bit of waiting and things to do before the exciting ride on the plane.

Airports are lots of waiting and queuing. Then the child thinks they are having an 'exciting plane ride' and it's basically sitting in the same seat for hours! I think people overdo the whole exciting thing to their kids, they would be better to underplay it completely.

Heels I think you missed the point.

Glad my DCs were excited by and enjoyed the plane ride. Lets hope we never sit next to you, you sound like a right bundle of fun.

Great link, thank you. especially helpful for anxious children who can tie themselves in knots worrying about things!
