Can anyone find me a decent hotel in central London for 25th Nov for less than £150?

I've looked around Laterooms, want Covent Garden ideally but would go a bit further, i.e. less than a tenner in a cab. I won't be spending that long there so it doesn't have to be amazing but I'd prefer 4* or higher. Much as looking for hotels is my hobby I've tired of it today, anyone any ideas? TIA for any help.

I could do v cheap, i.e. Travelodge but Covent Garden one is fully booked OR nicer but I don't do B&Bs/small chintzy places.

stupid question but does it have to be the 24th?

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 18/11/2006 15:53

theres the Hoxton Hotel. £129 for a double room.
But its check out only on the 25th so would have to be the 24th.

Has to be the 25th, for one night only.

The Kingsway looks perfect, alas, they have no rooms. Will go and look up the other one, thanks.

Mars, am meeting friends for dinner and will need somewhere to sleep, otherwise the choice is getting a train back and driving other end which would = no drinking.

Thistle Hotels website have something in the left hand drop down menu, called Thistle Auctions, have a look there, you can sometimes pick up a real bargain.

You can always kip on my couch for free babe!

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 18/11/2006 16:15

Thats weird, the link I put in has rooms available!

WideWebWitch · 18/11/2006 16:17

The Mayflower looks perfect but doesn't seem to have any availability. I used to live in Warwick Rd, very near there. Thanks Mars but I like hotels! And may not be sober when I get back! OK, will look at Thistle auctions too. I wonder about calling the Kingsway, may do.

Well if you get stuck just holler! I do a mean fried breakfast! And the chances are you'll beat me home if my lady goes into labour.
