Group Saver On Train

Traveling to London with friends using a group saver ... but may have to come back 'alone' on different train to them as family crisis...

Do i need to do anything (ie pay more) either before i board train or actually on train???

I don't think you can travel alone on a group saver, you all need to be together or pay the full fair. And pretty sure that the other three would have to pay full fair as well as there are not four travellers together.

so i need to go to ticket office before i board train and pay extra... or can i pay same extra on train...

You can pay it on the train when the ticket person gets to you. You will lovely have to pay the whole fate again, not just the difference in price but might depend on how nice your ticket person is.

You should warn the other travellers that they will need to pay more as well though - group saver requires four to travel together.
