Sitges....suggestions please!

Flying into Barcelona tomorrow morning and staying in Surges for week. Anyone have recommendations for sights/restaurants/activities please? Children are 8yrs -15yrs. Have been to Barcelona before (without kids) but never been to Sitges. We usually go to Costa del Lux and Costa del Sol with children so love Spain and want to get most from week. We then travel to place near Alicante for 2nd week.

No advice on activities as such, we just spent a day there. But there is an awsome mexican restaurant on the front (where a lot of bars are). Lots of play parks dotted a along the seafront, but these maybe a little young for your dc's. It was a very clean town, we really enjoyed our day there!

Water park on the coast on your way to sitges. Parc Aventura?

Tarragona has ancient ruins that are a good afternoon out.

Miravet has a great pottery and an interesting rope-operated ferry to get across the river to it.

Sorry, I've rather assumed you have use of a car.

Thank you for replies. Yes, renting a car for 2 weeks. Had heard about Port adventura but not water park. Will Def check them out. Tarragona sounds interesting too.
