What to do with maternity clothes when not pg anymore

I have loads of mat clothes that are hardly worn, and some of them are really really nice. But, I don't know what to do with them. I'd happily sell them or even give some away, but cannot be bothered to take loads of pictures to sell them online. Any ideas please?

If you have a group of mummy-friends, put them in a sack and given them to the next mummy who gets up the duff

I have been doing this with some mummy friends of mine and we now have a huge sack full of lots of comedy tent-dresses as well as good stuff

NCT sale?

Miaou · 16/11/2006 15:00

fizzbuzz, have you got any stuff in size 10 (shortarse?) I would pay postage for some items (particularly tops) but can't afford to buy things, IYSWIM. And would happily go by descriptions only.

LOL at posting it in travel!!

PanicPants · 16/11/2006 15:01

I put mine in the attack for next time

PanicPants · 16/11/2006 15:02

Have just had baby, and prior to that was working full time. Have friends but not really mummy friends, this is why I don't know what to do

Alas Maiou, were it that I was a size 10, I would be very happy.
Unfortunately am not, so:Bottoms size 14/16L (mainly 14's), Tops size 16-ideal for pregnanccy from now until summer. DD was born in July. Would happily get rid of them for cost of postage.
Stuff from, Next, Vertbaudet, La Redoute, Asda, H&M. All colours except brown (don't like brown).
Can post list on here if anyone is interested..

Fizzbuzz, would bite your hand off if I was the same size as you, but 'fraid not.

Could you try all the antenatal threads (I'm on May 07) and we're all just starting to buy mat. clothes. Somebody will help you out there I am sure.

PS Congrats Miaou, great news that you're expecting again (is it no. 4?)

fizzbuzz · 16/11/2006 15:17

Thanks SOH, will try that.....need to go and investigate bottom of laundry basket to find out what I actually have....

Never mind, thanks anyway!!

Miaou - I have a few maternity clothes in size 10 which I won't use again. I'm pg again, but will be due in July so need summer maternity clothes, whereas last time I was due in Feb so have a few trousers and things that I don't think I'll wear again. You're welcome to them if you are also petite!!

fizzbuzz · 16/11/2006 15:36

Have posted on Due July thread.

Miaou, I am a size 10 shortarse and may have one or two bits you could have. I'd have to go and check but I think I've got a couple of George v-neck t-shirts. I also have some next elasticated waist maternity trousers, which I would happily lend you - I would quite like them back though (for if there ever is a next time! Not planned for any time soon )

Miaou · 16/11/2006 16:02

Tatties, the t-shirts would be lovely! I'm actually ok for trousers as the lovely Bubblerock gave me three pairs when I was pg with ds - but I was a bit short in the tops department! (I think I mistakenly thought I wouldn't resemble a whale ). Anyway, no hurry, it's early days yet - just CAT me when you're ready

Miaou · 16/11/2006 16:04

Oh sorry mumpbump, missed your message!! I am due in July also , but as I said, ok for trousers just now. Thank you very much though!

YoureTheOneForMeTatties · 17/11/2006 18:41

Miaou, I sent you a CAT last night, let me know if you don't get it
