As Mnetters, are we actually getting any real discount on centreparc holidays. I clicked on the banner link, typed in the mumsnet promotional code and it came back with exacyly the same price for a family of four without the code. Am I doing something wrong here?

it does not exsist (this discount!!)
call them and enquire an they get really twitchy about this
Sure they will show you a few discounts on one bedroomed units in half term/school holidays, and it sorts of begs the question, why then are you advertising on a clearly family aimed site?
This question has been asked before!
But you will not get a discount!!
How about asking this site itself?
After all they do get a fee for such advertisers...
(although fairly certain you wil be directed to a discount to a totally unusable week that will encur the wrath of your childrens teacher, and in reality, not be a discount at all!!)
Buyer beware!

You have to phone and book and quote the code, then they give you the discount. It does say up to 25% off. I don't know which weeks get 25% off though.

However, myself and my mum have both got 15% off our CP breaks using the MN code. So it does exist and it does work.

the discount doesn't count on any weeks that anybody with a school-aged child might wish to book .. but if you have pre-schoolers and go midweek term-time you'll probably get 10% off

We got the discount for a weekend during term time. It's not too far for us, so we'll just go up after school on a Friday, and leave very early on Monday morning.

(It's cheap in January, so is worth doing even for a short weekend... I think!)

okay, I'll phone tonight and report back.
