Im sooo excited, managed to get a good deal from disney direct. I love Disney as some of you know & havent been to the paris one since it opened. Im a bit of a fan as some of you know. This is such a wonderful trip ,as it is my sisters 30th, my birthday , my neices birthday and will nearly be my dds 1st brthday.

I would like to know if anyones stayed at the explorer and can tell me what they think, I have heard wonderful things already.

Dont know it ...

But it's got the Shuttle bus, it so quick and easy to get in and out.

Tell them it is your birthday and Guest Services when you enter the park, sometimes you can get special things, like a ride in horse/cart etc, wear Birthday badges etc.

You spend so long at the park during the day, all you need is a comfy bed, because you sleep really well!

Book a character breakfast (we had ours at Cafe Mickey) in Festival Disney (the bit before the main gates) it was the one time we got 'close and personal' with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Jiminy Cricket, they stopped at each table for autographs, photos, kiss and cuddle! It just gets too busy inside the park sometimes. The food was great too, loads of buffet choice. Felt it was worth every penny.

The new Studios park was good, you must see the car stunt show, it was great!

Thats ok Kizzie , I didnt know there was another thread going !!
We booked direct with the internet site I linked further down, after phoning round and getting qoutes, I found Expedia to be quite good to price wise for this trip , but I was just happier doing it direct & with Disney they dont charge 10-15% commision that a lot of other companys do charge. Another tip is if you book a package with hotel and Eurostar together then U get the Disney Express service , which means you get a full park pass you can use any time given to you on the eurostar , and at the disney station they take your luggage from you to and take it to the hotel. So you can go staright into the park for lunch. Unfortunately dont have this service as I got my eurostar with virgin points Ive been saving for a couple of years.

Think I might have to start a thread abut the restaurants as Im trying to pre book for my sisters 30th!!

I also phoned Disney direct a few mins after I made the booking to confirm the cot sitaution and they were able to find my booking ref immediately which was reasuring.
