SKI AUSTRIA>>>SCEFFAU vs ST ANTON

anyone been to either of these resorts? we're thinking of going with dds aged 2 and 4.

the accommodation we're looking at is far better in scheffau, but we're worried that there might be too little going on there.

dd 2 might not like the childcare, so thought that st anton might have more to offer in terms of occupying ourselves if not skiing. (dh and i might have to take turns looking after her)

any ideas, folks?

St Anton is more snow sure and, I think, more bustling (been there summer not winter though). Also has a great newish sports centre but is probably more spread out.

I took a school group to scheffau a few years ago, lovely place but not v lively, a couple of cafes and a Spar from what I can remember - the 14/15 yr olds were not impressed!

well...dh told me when i got home that he's booked a holiday in scheffau. we are staying at the hotel alpin with esprit, so hopefully it will be suitably child friendly.

liz, we now just have to pray for snow.

early, i'm sure that my dds will not notice the lack of nightlife. am actually reassured by the fact that the teenagers didnt like it, IYSWIM!
