If a first adult passport application was sent off today, what is the likelihood of it arriving within 4 weeks? UK resident, held a child passport which expired a few years ago.
The government website says 6 weeks but I was wondering if it's likely to come sooner. Not for me, I'm not so disorganised, but for a teenage son who apparently knows what he's doing so I have been told to butt out!
