I know it's a given that the cote d'azur is crazy busy for the whole summer... but has anyone noticed any difference in 1st week of August and the 3rd week? We have a choice between those 2 dates - the 1st is slightly better for us, but just wondered if it would beaches etc feel even busier than the 3rd week?
Any personal experience?
We're looking more at the western Lavandou region, rather than say St Tropez and east, if it makes a difference.
