I took dd to a birthday party at weekend at a soft play centre and saw several accidents waiting to happen. i feel that these need reporting but have no idea who to contact. can anyone suggest who i call?

thanks

You can send a letter to the play centre, but they are likely to respond defensively as opposed to actualy looking at the problem.

Working in a health and safety role I would recommend you contact the local councils Environmental Health Officer with your concerns. They will take your concerns seriously and approach the play centre objectively.

Children are unpredicatable and they will take this in to account when reviewing the standards -which could work in favour of the playcentre or to support your comments.
