I've tried kayak & skyscanner
Any other suggestions?

I'm trying to plan East Coast USA -> Scandinavia -> London -> East Coast USA
Really want one airline or codeshare all the way for baggage allowance etc

Any tips welcome

Check out this website well-way.com/ - It's a service for planning travel routes, arranging one's trip in the most interesting and appropriate way. I used it everytime I go abroad, to Europe, mostly. Enjoy)

We've just booked multi-city with Opodo. Very reasonable.

Try Orbitz. Prices in U.S. dollars but it can work out cheaper

willie - I can't work out how to use well-way - is it all about attractions?

Have you tried Expedia? I normally use them for multi city flights.
