sleep in forward facing carseat

DD will need to go into a forward facing carseat soon. Is there any device that heps them sleep e.g. reclining function or importantly something to go over their head to fool them that it's dark?
Cheers

we have a Britax car seat that reclines (can't remember which model but their website would explain).

ou can get neck pillows for children to stop them slumping but with a good car seat you probably wouldn't need them.

Don't know about the dark thing - how about a balaclava on back to front?!

As they get older you will find you don't want them to sleep in the car or they won't sleep at night. We had a brittax one that reclined. Was enough for both of ours to drop off on lionger journeys. DS (3) still falls asleep in his high backed booster seat bless! Come to think of it so does DD (5) on longer journeys!

most of the 'better' forward facung car seats recline... som more than others... i think the maxi cosi priori reclines a few degrees more than most

my britax renaissance also reclines quite alot (it as 5 postitns from sitting upright to reclining quuite a lot!)
