dcs using scooters at Heathrow T5 up to depature gate - can they??

ds only just 3. haven't used the pram since Xmas and don't really want to take it on holiday to Germany. he much prefers to get about on his scooter.

anyone used a scooter up to the depature gate??

Flying home into gatwick on Saturday we saw a boy on a skateboard from the plane up to security, and another child on a scooter. It was a very late arrival (1:30am), so not very busy, but I did wonder how they got them on the plane.

Op I understand the independent/but sometimes tired DC. Was saying to DH there must be an invention waiting to happen there :-)

They used to have scooters in Stockholm airport, but only for staff use. We used to arrive at about 5am, when it was quiet, and race them up and down the terminal...Grin
