Going to Spain next week.

Intend to feed DS 1x 250ml bottle whilst on the plane as its around his bed time etc

Flying with EasyJet. What are the rules with regards to me taking a bottle of ready made formula in my hand luggage

You could buy a carton in boots after you go through security

dementedpixie · 02/06/2015 21:25

or take it with you but you will probably need to taste it at security

This is the guidance doc from easyjet. It says you can take up to a litre, but you will probably be asked to taste the formula for security reasons.

We had the 200ml ready made bottles in hand luggage with no issues and no tasting needed. They were sealed. All we had to do was take them out of the bag and they were put through the scanner.

We own a property a 3 hour flight away and have been going since the children were small. I used to have a change bag with 2 insulated bottle holders in and I popped a ready made bottle in each one. I also had a separate insulated bottle holder and had one in there too to allow for delays.
I used to get all 3 out and send them through security separately. I used to have to shake a few drops of one on the back of my hand and taste it but apart from that it was fine.

Ok fantastic. Now tell me .... is DS going to scream the entire flight??? ConfusedConfusedConfused

Try and feed on take off as it soothes them and helps with ears
