Best hotel for Heathrow terminal 5?

We have an early morning flight from Heathrow T5 next month and I need to book somewhere to stay the night before (we live a good 3 hour drive from HRow) I have 3 kids and will probably need 2/3 rooms as the older two are 12 and 14. Sofitel is WAY outside of our budget (£1400 plus for 1 night!!) Any recommendations? We'd ideally like to park the car the night before and then use a bus or something to get to the terminal the next day. TIA

I have stayed in the premier inn T5 Heathrow for £60 a room. I believe you can also leave car there and get a free shuttle bus over will try to find a link for you. Just checked and for 2 rooms plus 14 nights parking it's £295. Link here

Actually I just looked at the breakdown of prices - you would only need to do one room for the car parking so £147 and then an additional room for the night so £76. So an even better price!

I usually stay at the Ibis at Beaconsfield services at the bottom of the M40. It takes 15 minutes to drive to T5 from there outside rush hour, and is usually massively cheaper than the airport hotels.

I have stayed at the Premier Inn, but their car park is a nightmare, and if you leave your car in the main car parks, the Hotel Hoppa bus is £5 each, each way, which is v pricy.

IMO, the airport hotels are really noisy.

I've booked through APC for our honeymoon later this month, also from T5. Got overnight stay the night before at the Holiday Inn + 3 weeks parking and they collect car from airport and return it to arrivals, all in for £135 if that helps Smile

Premier Inn have a package on just now.

39 pound per night per room and you can get 3 in the room.

Then there is the package that involves parking which is also very reasonable.

I usually use the one in Bath Road that about a mile from T5, but there is also the T5 one which is a few hundred yards away. Both hotels are served by the Hoppa bus.

Oh and I never have any trouble with the noise.

Sorry, the price has increased to about 90 since I booked a few weeks ago but it would still cost you nothing like the 1400 you mentioned.

Here you go.

I 'booked' 2 family rooms.

You and your partner plus one child on one, and your eldest 2 in the other.

you could then decide what parking package you need.
