We are going to Germany this summer, crossing Dover-Calais on the ferry then driving to southern Bavaria (near Mittenwald). Can't decide whether to stop once, meaning we could have a free day, or twice, meaning that the drive per day is shorter.
Is this a crazy thing to do with a 1 year old? What's the maximum we should be driving in a day with her? And does anyone have any tips?
