If I were to book for, say, the Canaries over Christmas, would it generally be cheaper to book now or wait till more last-minute?

Many thanks in advance for any advice. Never done this before!

I think if your heart is set on a particular hotel then book now but if you are not fussed then leave it...of course you could end up with nothing you consider acceptable.

We have always booked at least 6-9 months in advance for all our Xmas holidays.
