CUBA - anyone been? Recommendations please

Where are the beaches with the gentlest waves? Is there a windy/rough side?

We will have children age 9 & 6 so need a kids club. Looking for SC in a one bed or AI.

The Travel Collection are great - we went with them - all inclusive to Varadero - hotel was great and clean and lots of excursions - although try and do a few nights in Havana first to get that side of things because is quite a trip if you go there just for the day.
