Day trips west algarve

Hi any suggestions for towns to visit in west algarve? We are staying near Sagres have 2yo & 6yo and looking for a couple of recommendations.

How about Lagos Zoo? Quite low-key but good for your DC ages.

Thanks will check it out. Might go to zoo marine, we've been once before but didn't really visit any towns so I'm keen to do that this time.

Lagos is a lovely town to visit.
