Travel Insurance whilst pregnant

Do I need specialist insurance? It's a one-week holiday to Cyprus in October and I'll be flying home in my 26th week so should be pretty low risk (this is my second pregnancy, first was uncomplicated but it's very early days so hard to predict yet).

Do I need to get specialist cover? If not do I need to declare it to the insurance company? Anything else I should know? Thanks!!

No you don't. DH queried this when we travelled to the US in April. Regular travel insurance is fine.

You need to make sure they cover the baby if it comes early. Most don't although this is not explicitly stated.

standard cover should be fine but you MUST declare it, and as noted above check small print.

You don't need specialist insurance but you have to tell them you are pregnant. I used Insure & Go when I was pregnant.
